Classes Cancelled
So I was all annoyed that I didnt have any choreography for tonights classes, but I found out tha that is totally ok. Nadine just called to inform me that classes are cancelled for today. So Im happy, because now I havve time to actually get some choreography done. I realize I've had Friday, Sat, and Monday, but it's hard to get into it when your not inspired. So today I tryed and I did get a few more steps. Thing is I dont know to much hiphop of there level. I guess since I've been dancing so long, I catch on quicker to things. But some of the stuff I thought would be easy, has turned out to be quite the challenge for them. So Im not sure how this is going to turn out. But I will let you all know when it comes time to preform it!

Moldy Oldies
So I don't really understand this term, cuz I think the oldies are the best. Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald come on now. They have some great stuff, and it sounds better the older I get. I appreciate it better now that I'm getting up there in age. hehe. Just take a listen and learn to appreciate the music veterans! Its REALLY good!

The Butterfly Effect
Wow. Now thats a movie. Of course being rated R, it's not for everyone. There was alot of nudety/sex, and language. Which I don't agree with, and really didnt need to be there. The story itself was amazing! Very cool to think about, and in the end there was a good message. Sometimes it's best just to let things go. At least thats what I got from it. I dont want to give the ending incase you are planning on seeing it, but sometimes it's best to let poeple go and make a life for themselves, otherwise they might end up resenting you. If it's God's plan you meet again, then you will.

Shin Splints
So through out my many years of dance, I've developed a lovely little problem called shin splints! It happens when you do alot of jumping and moving on craptastic floors. So lately it hasn't been to much of a bother, but today however Imanaged to cause a flair up. But only in one leg. My right. Now usually I'd just kinda "mark" the moves we're doing, but today I decided, since its a preformance peice, that I'd keep going full out. BOY WAS THAT STUPID! I ended up in worse pain and any movement once so ever made it that much worse. So finally I decided to bring it up with my dance teacher. Miss Chantel. That was a good idea, because I found out, after all these years of pain, that I'm suposed to be icing my legs everyday. Not just when Im having a major pain, but all the time. So after dance I was in so much pain, and not wanting to cry infront of the boys, I went into the waiting room and thought about how I was going to drive everyone home. I realized the less i drove the better, and got Erin (my sister), to go and ask Nathan to drive Dana and himself, and then I'd drive home from there. Since Nathan is SO VERY cool, and now my best friend (whether he wants to or not), he did just that. However getting into the driver side I began to rush because I wanted to be in pain for the least amount of time possible. AGAIN not a good idea, roads are slippery in the winter! So I end up behind this slow moving stupid head and we get stuck at a red light. I was following pretty close behind and was trying to stop when I hit a nice little patch of black ice. So I kept sliding towards this morron who just sat there (he had room to move up and avoid the accident that didnt happen). So just as Im about to close my eyes and pray the car stopped. All I said was "God..." and we where stopped! I love God, he's always watching.
He was watching over me the other day when I was on my way to Morris, Mb. Now usually my mom drives, Erin takes shot gun, and I sleep in the back. Well only one of those where the same. And I didnt like it! My mom had to stay back becasue of a job change and training. So I was on my way to morris in crappy wheather. Most of the time I couldn't see farther then 10 feet infront of me. I ended up driving through 2 snow drifts that I didnt see where on the road until I was on them. Thats when the problems started. First everything went cold, then I had no stearing, then it smelt sweet, and then I pulled over. The first thing I did was turn off the car, 2nd was call dad, 3rd call Eddie, 4 check under hood to see if any belts where loose of off. I was paniced and angry and had no clue where to look! Im no car person. So I called my dad back to tell him there was green fluid all over (anti-freeze), but I couldnt see the belts. Afer I was done with my dad I told Eddie. Now Eddie is a God sent, because with out him I would have been in hysterics! So Eddie arranged for Terry (a co-ordiner from Morris) to come pick us up. Then Eddie drove into Morris and got us a tow truck. Got the van towed to our machanic. Then came all the way back to Morris to pick us up and drive us home! The whole time we sat there and waited for Terry 1 car stopped. A woman somewhere around her 20's-30's. It was wierd, the whole time I was thinking about the story of the Good Sameritan. All the cars went by quickly, on the other side of the raod. No one looked back. She was the only one. Crazy eh?

Movies & Work
So as you know I had made plans to go to the movies, and then my work called me in. Well I thought it be an all nighter, but it turns out it wasn't. So its now 10:26pm and I dont have a clue on what to do. I was hungry when I got home from work so I made my self a delicious ceaser salad. YUM!
So lately I've been having horrible breathing problems and I've gotten some advise to help me breath a little better. I Should to the doc, but I cant understand a word out of her mouth, she has such a thick accent! So I want mey mom with me to tell me what the doc says. Its all crazyness! But Im gonna go cuz Nathan rocks and I'm trying to talk and write and I keep loosing my train of thought!hehe

Brad
So I made plans to hang out with an old school friend, and now I can't because of my crazy work. It seems everytime I talk about not having shifts they call me up that day and ask me to work at times when I've made plans to do other things! Arg! (Jordan I dont know if your reading this, but I'd like to say you are an awesome friend and awesome person which is why people want you involved in things. You listen and give great advice. People notice these things!) So I don't know what to do about the whole free time thing, because I dont seem to get any when I want it. Oh well I have to pay for my schooling and thats all there is to it!

cousins!
So the other day when I got home from teaching my mom asked me if I wanted to go with her to my great aunts funeral. I said sure, but I wasn't paying attension to when due to over tiredness. Today we went into dance practise and where asking for prayer requests, when one of my dancer friends said she wanted pray for family because her great aunt died. The wheels in my head started spinning, but for the life of me I couldn't remember when the funeral was. Eventually i had to drive people home early so I couldn't talk to her about it, but Erin however went for breaky with her and was talking to her about it and she found out we're COUSINS! Isn't that crazy? All this time we've been hanging wit our cousin and didnt even know it. I subed for her and Erin went wedding dress shopping wit her! Its so crazy!

Dance Dance
So yestarday was Shauns big daybu. It went pretty well for the most part. One of the big problems was bum touching, the girls seem to be drawn to his but! They kept smacking it. but eventually first class was over and we got some real dancers to work with! haha. These girls are so awesome! They try so hard, of course at the beginning they were nervous about shaun and stared a bit, but eventually they warmed up to him and we had lots of fun! Finally my 13and up class came in. They also were a bit shy, but no more then they where for there very first class, which was just last week! So we started teaching them there first step. And I think it maybe a little hard for them, so Im probly gonna change it. Meh. It'll be great no matter what! OH YA! hehe. Anyways ya so I think he's gonna stick it out wit me. Good for him. He to was a bit unsure of things, but he did great. GO SHAUN GO! hehe.

Blogin it
Im learning alot about blogging by trying new things, but its anoying to loose all the stuff you just added. However I think I'm getting the hang of it. Ya for me! Thanks Dez for helping me get started! Hecka awesome on your part! Guess who's dancing at the studio my dance team is renting!!! Brina! So shes gonna come watch on Sunday if shes not woking. It's nice to have a part of school here with me.
Well tonight is my first time teaching with Shaun, Im excited but also REALLY nervous. Lately I've been having panic attacks so I hope I dont have one today. I dont want to shove most of the class on him on his first day. maybe second....hehe. Just joking! Well I'll tell you about it tomorrow!

Nathan
Well I decided to talk about my good friend Nathan. Not my dance team Nathan, but my Newt Nathan. No I don't have a pet newt. Newt is the name he gave me when we first met. It's a nick name. So anyways, I've none him for less then a year, but we've talked so much that he's become one of my most trusted friends. He's like the brother I've always wanted! It's so great to be greeted "Hey SUPER JESS!" everytime we talk! It's a confidence buster is what it is! And sometimes people need that. Just a little pick me up! Now you may be wondering why I'm telling you this, well it's quite simple. People don't give there friends enough credit! They are always there for you when you need them, and it hurts them to see you hurt. WHAT'S BETTER THEN THAT? So Im asking all of my readers to give there friends an extra large hug and a little thank you for all the good times and the bad. Because without friends it would make getting through problems alot harder. God gave you friends for a reason, don't abuse it!

THURSDAYS!
So I've told you all about how Shauns teaching wit me on Thursdays, so on Sunday after practice I took Laurel to pick Shaun up for a meeting with Eddie. We met him at Tim Hortons (yummm!), and we talked about what the classes are like, some of the habits of the girls, that sorta thing. After a while Nadine picked up Laural and I went to my car to get my class outline. Eddie was impressed! (sweet deals!) So we rewrote it so we both had copies on outlines Eddie made up. We talked about about what we wanted to do and how the class was gonna work. So I'm still not sure if Im teaching and Shauns aprentising, or if we're both teaching. It's all crazyness. But anyways. Today I decided to start the dances for there little recital. The oldest group is doing the song " Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" by the Fugees. Good stuff! I dont remember what the other songs are called or who sings them, but its all written down. I'm really excited because I have about the first minit or so done! Which I will be teaching to them on THURSDAY! lol SO excited! anyways, I'm really tired and I have to work tomorrow. So there will be a new entry then! CIAO BELLAS!

DANCE!
So this morning was my first day back to dance practise. Boy was it great! And the night before was my first time teaching with out Eddie. Laurel was supposed to be my apprentice, but she has a new piece to learn at the other dance company she's with, so Ed found me someone else. You'd never guess who! SHAUN! These three classes are gunna be the funnest ever! However he's never taught before so he's coming to practise on Sunday and then after we're staying for a mini seminar type thing on teaching. I have taught before, but it's always good to learn what u can. Anyways, so this morning I picked up Nathan as usual, but I was also supposed to pick up Dana because her car is official dead. SO, I got to her house and send Nathan in to get her. She didn't answer the door so I called her cell. It ends up she "called" my cell and left a message. Only problem is I don't have that feature on my phone! So I'm not sure who she called. hehe, poor girl musta really been tired. So we went to practise with out her. I was getting more and more excited about class because I hadn't been in a while and because I new something most everyone didn't... Shaun was coming to practise. See he's an AWESOME dancer, but he has his reasons for not being on the pro team. BUT Ed and Chantel talked to him, so he said he'd come and try it out! SWEET DEAL HEY?! Thing is I don't know how long he'll keep with it, cuz we don't get home till late on Thursday nights and then we gotta get up early for practise.... I hope he sticks wit us, he's at every performance anyways. I'm just gonna interrupt my story for a second to make a prayer request; If it's Gods will, we'd REALLY like for Shaun to join the pro team, so if you could just prayer for guidance and peace for Shaun and for Chantel and Eddie.
Now back to the story... We finally got to practise and I LOVE our new place (it's not "ours", we're renting it, but wow!) So we put our stuff away and went in to the room. It was funny cuz Shaun Ed and I where all wearing yellow shirts. Both Shaun's and mine are little boy shirts (thanks Dez, I love this shirts!) We danced and danced some more. Finally we got to Chenees (wit a French accent) and I have a cold. We were instructed to go as fast as we could. Now for all my non-dancing friends, that would be some intense spinning! So I started off when to my HORROR snot flew out of my nose and smeared across my face! I hoped no one noticed as a quickly ran to the bathroom to clean off my face and blow my nose. When I got back, Shaun was laughing at me because he saw the whole thing! BOY DID I GO RED! But I laughed it off. lol. Oh geez! So anyways after dance I drove Nathan home and then came home and eat Breaky, then washed the dishes! At 11:00am I watched The Wayne Brady Show, it was very funny. And then went and changed cuz I noticed how much water I have splashed on my clothes. When my mom got home I watched some TV with her and ended up falling asleep with my head in her lap. I woke up when Chris came over and came down here to fool around with my template and comments colors. I love pink and this is the best I found so far. My search isn't over however! hehe. Well now I'm going upstairs and I think we're watching Ben Hur. Chris came to hang wit Erin, so I didn't want to bother them, until now, I'm bored! lol toodles!

RAISES
So I don't think I mensioned this the other day, but I got a raise just in time for my two new shifts! YAY GOD! He's helping me out and I don't give Him enough credit. Gee wiz, I should get on that hey? Anyways, I'll quickly tell you bout my productive day!
First of all I work up at 10:30ish and had a long shower. *ahhh* Then I got dressed and went down stairs for breaky. I had lucky charms, probly the ONLY dry cereal I'll eat! After that a watched some T.V. and then came down stairs ( to basement) and played on my computer, not this one because my sister was on it. After playing Tut's tomb and failing mizerably, I came up stairs and got ready for dancing in Morris. I grabbed my dance bag, a lunchable and a bottle of ice tea and was on my way, with my mom and older sister. I teach Creative movement for 3-5yr olds, and help my mom teach tap for 3-5, 6-9, and10-13's. My mom can't teach right now because she's having complications of some sort with her stomach. She had surgery so she can sleep laying down ( she had cancer back in the day and didnt have a certain valve), and for some reason she's been having pain. So she's getting that checked out and I'm dong most of the dancing in those classes, but I don't mind. Well then we stopped at Subway for supper and got home about 10. Then I found out I start teaching in Notre Dame for Eddie tomorrow and I dont have a lesson plan because he thought it was NEXT thursday (I wish!)
So I had to get Erin to help me work out THREE lesson plans because I wasn't sure what to start with. Finally she finished on the comp and I finished watching A Simple Life ( that Paris Hilton one) and checked my emails. Since Im done with the emails and now done my blog for today, Im off to bed. Nervous about tomorrow, but I will have help. Laural will be there tomorrow and the rest of the time it will be Shuan! WHO NEW?!

Work!
Yestarday was my fist shif in a long time, however I got a raise! Sweet deal! And I worked again today, however it wasn't as long a shift. Yestarday we counted Toys R US in Polo Park, and today we counted the one by KP. YES...NOT! Yestarday was a nine hour shift and that meant I was iether standing or kneeling for nine hours. Today however was only a 6hour day. Therefore I was standing or kneeling for only 6 hours. However my knees are quite purple. My black pants and now white, and my white shirt in now black. Why is that? How come dust can make one thig dark and another light? hum......? Interesting.
Anyway! I was a few people I haven't seen in a while, and a few peolpe I'd never seen before. The people I've worked with before are only now starting to warm up to me though. I am now learning more about the "wizard" with there help. The "wizard" in the tool we use to count the stuff. The scanning beeping, lazor. Tre chic! Anyways Im out for now. My feet of very swollen, and I am VERY tired. Have a great day all!

BON JOUR MON AIME!
Sorry if any of that is spelt wrong my french friends. So friday night was NATE's NIGHT! And it was crazy! For all of you who don't know what nghts nite is, it was a fundraiser for my friend Nathan, put on by Nathan! The dance team did some dances, there was a comedian, and there was music supplied by a good friend of the team, Don. But the night didn't start off as well as planned. See there was about 3minits to start and all of a sudden the FIRE ALARM goes off! THE FIRE ALARM!!! So that wasn't good. When they thought they got it turned off, it went off again, and then again!!! But we knew better then some, the show must go on! So Nathan lead us on stage, alarm and all, and we started the festivities with the Hawiian. However I didn't dance, I was part of "the scene". I found out at the run through the day before, that I am no longer good enough to do the Hawiian. So I dropped out, it was better to drop out then to be yelled at/ reemed out/ looked down on from yelling at someone I never yelled at. Long story. So anyways, we did the stuff and eventually the alarm was shut off for the last time. The comedian was pretty good. He did impressions of famous people including Bob Dylon, The Bee Gees, and Cory Heart. He did impressions of famous people singing Tambourine Man, the way they would've sang it! Tre drole!
While all this funniness was going on, I was sitting with my sister, our friend, and Shaun from the team. We were hungry so we were eating the pretzels and cheesys. I decided to have a little fun with my snacks so I decided to find out if I could shove handfulls of pretzels in my mouth, suposedly I can only fit one. Anyways, I can't finish my story cuz I have to go to a meeting about dance. Maybe later! I'll keep u in suspence!

2004
Hey friends! It's now 2004, and boy was it fun doing the count down! At first I thought it was gonna suck because I thought I'd have to sit at home by myself and have no one to celebrate with! See that would suck. BUT I got a phone call from an old high school friend! For the longest time I thought maybe things ended bad and so she was mad at me, and THAT's why we didnt keep intouch. However that wasn't the case at all! Basicly it was just something that happened, me going off the college and her working often. So i'm really excited because now two of my best friends from high school are now back in my life.
anyways I getting a little off topic so: Kelly calls me up and asks me what I'm doing on Thursday because Cindy told her that I wanted to go see a movie with them. Unfortunetly I had prier comitments and I wasn't sure about the time or the length... So after doing a little catching up Kelly asked me if I'd like to spend New Years with her because otherwise she'd have to stay at her aunties and be forced to eat everything there! And she wanted to hang out a little, so I said sure! So she came and picked me up and we went to her house to pick up some coupons for the video store. We rented two movies. Dumber and Dumberer, and 28 Days Later. We thought that 28 Days Later would be scary and such so we decided to watch that first. It was very boring... Something about Monkeys being infected with Rage...? Then all of a sudden there aren't any people, and then there are and some of them are rabid....? Whatever! We didn't finish it cuz it sorta just dragged on. So we but Dumber and Dumberer in. HILARIOUS! AND Bob Saget is in it! Crazy hey? So we laughed our heads off. At 20 seconds to the new year we called Cindy and counted down with her, thing is her count down was a second slower then ours, so we were confusing eachother. But eventually we got to the end and we all wished eachother a happy new year!
I forgot a part of this story, so I'll add it in here: I had phoned my sister to find out when and how long our dance rehearsal was for Thursday, it was only an hour, 6-7, so I told Kelly and Cindy that we could go see a movie, but it have to be before then. That was fine.
So yesterday at 3:45 pm, we went and saw Mona Lisa Smile. What a great movie! I loved it, however I got to practice late because the movie ended at 6. But that was ok I wasn't yelled at like I was expecting so WOOHOO!
Everyone got really over heated at practice so Becky had a great idea, she suggested we all go to BP's. Most of us went and it really helped to lighted the mood. We laughed, a lot at me because I kept burning my mouth of food that didn't affect anyone else, and at inside jokes and such. It was lots of fun and every productive, so I was very happy.
I've been needing some excitement and I got it! Yah! So all in all I had a great new years!
