Christmas
Well, as you all know, 2 days ago, we had christmas. On the 25th, we had our big family gathering, and Erin invited our choreographer and her brother, mother, and father. We have a really tiny house, and my dad also invited an old school friend who started going to our church about 2ish years ago. Which was nice, because he doesnt have any family left. We started our christmas at about 8am. However, Becky and I have a "sleepover" every christmas eve, and this year we were in Beckys room. I couldnt sleep. For one thing she was WAY to excited, and for another, I was uncomfortable. I ened upwaking up at 6am, and laying there waiting for everyone else to awaken. Finally we were all awake by 7:30, but mom forgot to wrap some stuff, and dad wanted to shave. At 8ish we opened our stocking stuffers. That was fun cuz I need socks, and I got tones. I also got some paints, paint brushes, and some canvases (dollerama is my new favorite store for that reason). After we were done, we sat around waiting for the rest of the family to come, Becky and I decided we'd go watch the nabores open there presents while we waited. It was so much fun, Arielle opened an Iron (the package wasnt labeled, and she thought it was for her), she still squeeled in excitement. Shes so easy to please, its amazing. After they were all done, we went back to our house becuase we saw that our grandperents had come. We still had to wait for our uncles, and aunt, but they got there within 10minits. So then Arielle and Deedee came and sat in the living room watching us open our presents. Areille and I both screached in excitement wehn I opened my: from the family gift. I got a Kareoke machine. I totally wasnt expecting it. But now that I have it, Im having a Kareoke party for new years. So my friends if your in the area, stop on by! We'd love to have you!
Yestarday was our second Christmas gathering, with my moms cousin. We ate supper, I tried a long Island Ice Tea, kinda orangee, then my dad, my uncle, my couins, Becky and I all went downstairs to play ping pong! First it was my uncle and dad against my cousins. Cousins won. Then Becky and Uncle against Cousins. Cousins won, then I went upstairs for a while, came back down and played cousin becky, against cousin me! WE won, then switched partners and I lost... lol you can tell who was doing all the work :).Well Im done Im gonna sing a bit, then pick up Becky from work. Hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas, or will have one soon! Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Years!

Dec11/04 Vision
Vision is a dance show that my old time family friend Scott Peters put on. Nathan, Erin, my mom and I all went to see it. It was SO funny! It was written by the actor who played the director, and choreographed by the two lead male dance/actors. They did a black light piece to the Imperial March or whatever the Star Wars music is called. And they all so did a Rythmic Gymnastics-ish type piece in the light aswell. They had some tap, aswell as "you got served" hiphop battles. The part that Nathan I thought was the greatest, was when they we're having "auditions" for a filler spot, and an Asian guy comes in with a staff. We were expecting him to know how to use the thing, because he takes lessons or practices at the Ducworth Center. But anyways, he had nothing on our Sonny. Not even close! He even did some of the same moves, but it just didn't look as good. Non the less I would tripped myself doing what he was doing, so props for him! Scott's tap numbers inspired me though, and I really wanna get back into it, aswell as a REAL hiphop class and see if I cant mix them up a bit. However Im still partial to the old school Fred Astair tap.
Dec.3 news!
So I told you all about having a fundraiser, but now that its over I'll let you know how we did! We had to stop selling tickets at the door, because we were only aloud to have 400 people in Mustangs (somewhere around that). We had 4500$ after paying out 1000$, and thats not all the money, there was still some uncounted money from other tickets. It was got so full so quick, that I had to close down my craft corner with in 5 minits of the actual show starting, to make sitting and standing room for the people coming in. However I did have a few kids come and make crafts with me. (Ajia made me a lovely cluster of flowers.)
Now for the craziness of the night. We didnt have a full run through ever, until the show was running, and it went off with out many problems! The make up done by our very own lovely Jo was spectacular! I had so many comments on how beautiful my eyes were (even though they were mostly from Chantelle and Jo), and I was told through my mom how was told by Eddie that I have a captivating smile and nice hands in the Hawiian (I think that was the word used). i didnt get to see all the dances, but what I did see was great, some of our best work yet!
