I Remember When I Was Nostalgic!
Hey friends! so I had a convo with a good friend from college today! Good old Joni! Shes living it up with her sister while she works as a waitress until she's saved enough for a laptop and school! She wants to go to YWAM. Another brave soul. Seriously people who go on missions are brave becuase they are stepping out into faith and trusting God to keep them afloat while they are in new countries and Im just totally impressed!
Anyways, so Joni and I were remanising about school. then good times and bad. An example of a bad time? When my room mate tried to set me up with Noland and his Room mate got the wrong impression of what was going on so I ended up cancelling out valentines plans. And it was all becuase my roommate told his (nolands) roommate, that i was in love with him! But I wasnt. I just that he was a great person. Very fun and funny. But things got blown out so I basicly just said screw it! Now we have had alot more good memories then bad!
Some of my favorites where when my church invited YQOTR out and Brandon "taught" me to play Kiss Me on the guitar! And when he made up Girls Football! What a great song! lol And lets not forget the time we ended up in the ditch and I met Jodi, one really great kid who can dance! And I never would have become so close to Jodi, Brina, or Dez if it wasn for YQOTR! It wasnt until we joined it that we realized we all lived in the same dorm, on the same floor! We ended up watching the first LOTRs together and it was my first time! Then we ALL went to the theater to see the next one and I forgot to turn my head lights off so I killed the battery! Luckily Eric is such a HUGE LOTRs fan, cuz he was there with the "burb" to boost me!
Now for my MOST memorable expeirecne! Meeting the "boys" all becuase of a walk! I was invited once, loved it and kept on going. Im sorry to Candace and Celest for stealing it from you. That definately wasnt my intent. But I built some MAJOR friendships on those walks! We snuck into the skate park, I walked away so someone would join me... and met Jordo, Nat, John, and Craig! Craig you and you million dollars! lol great summer thanks to our chats! Jordan you got me threw alot of crap that summer and even while in school. you are a hero in a half shell! Nat we had our issues but you still where a huge part of my college yr! And John you and your musicalness, it was an honour to be your friend! Now Jo, dont even think I forgot about you! You kept me sane when I had to deal with roommates and quadmates (Erin)! You were always there with a hug and a camera! lol I loved doing those crazy photos! noone will take that place! Well I just hope at least some of you read this. And get some kicks out of it... it was good times all around!

Hi friends, I dont know who is still reading this, but I have a friend who has just come out to me. He's not at home so its hard to show him that Im not into judging him, and that I got his back no matter what. We are lifers, but he doesnt fully trust me. I love him to bits and if you could just pray that he remebers that we are friends and that he can feel some sort of peace with who he is, cuz Im sure even though he's "trying this thing out" hes still unsure of who he is. I dont know how this is coming across so I will say that I do not agree with being gay, but I dont hate him for choosing to be gay. I just want for him, what I want for myself... an identity. His very own and my very own. So pray that we find those! Thank you.

Thanks Giving
Hello people! Happy Thanks Giving for those of you celebrating already! I do not get to enjoy my thanksgiving just yet, for I must work a closing shift at the mall! 6:30pm is when I can say i am thankful... thankful that I am no longer working, and that I get to spend the rest of the night eating parogies, turkey, mashed taters, sausage meat, peas, APPLE pie with real whipped cream, and hopefully pavlova... My Aunti is from New Zealand! Anyways, I hope all of you have time to reflect on all the things you have to be thankful for; a God who loves you, a friend who listens, perants who love you, a roof over your head, and a floor under your feet! God bless and anjoy the turkey!

Hello fellow friends. I just recently heard that one of my youth has been abused for quite some time now. She ran away from home a little while back, but since we didnt know what was happening, we couldnt help her. We ended up taking back to the place that was unsafe. Then the next day they moved out to the country, where she fell down a flite of stairs while trying to catch a frog. She siezed at the bottom and then had amnesia (dont know the proper spelling). Later on while hanging out with my sister and a few other friends, she fell down and hit her head again, and her memory came back (kinda like the movies). But today before church, she snuck out to meet her boyfriend to take off again... however she informed our pastor of what was going on, and child family services have been called! Im hoping they get her out of there. I ask that all the christians out there reading this would lift her up in pray, as well as her friends who have been there from the beginning. This is the second scare in one month. Thank you.
